• Plain flour 2 Cups
  • Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt 1 Teaspoon
  • Caster sugar 1 Tablespoon
  • Salted butter, melted 50 Milliliters
  • Egg (50 g.) 2
  • Fresh milk 200 Millilitres
  • Dole Mandarin Oranges in Juice 1 Cup (4oz.)
  • Pure Maple syrup and Mint leaf for garnishing
Mixing method
  1. Sift Flour and Baking powder twice then add salt and sugar, mix well.
  2. Add the butter and mix until being crumble.
  3. Add egg and mix well one at a time
  4. Add milk 50ml. each time and gently stir until smooth (may add another 50ml. if the batter still sticky)
  5. The batter texture should not be too sticky but a little fluid, rest in a refrigerator up to 3 hours. 
Cooking method (Waffle machine)
  1. On a hot surface, brush over some butter
  2. Pour in, the batter all over
  3. Close the machine's lid, wait about 2-3 minutes until the lid open
  4. The lid can be easily open if the waffle is cooked.
  5. Garnish with the maple and Dole Mandarin oranges, some whipped cream and mint leaves will create more appertize.
